Natural IVF Procedure

Our center’s policy regarding natural IVF involves thoroughly studying all aspects of the couple’s life to ensure the best chance of success. These factors include:

  • Age of the couple: The success rate of IVF is inversely proportional to the age of the couple.
  • Number of children and years of marriage: Whether the couple is dealing with primary or secondary infertility.
  • Health conditions: Any diseases or conditions in either the husband or wife that may interfere with conception.
  • Previous treatments: Any treatments the wife or husband has undergone before starting the IVF process.
  • Laboratory tests: Comprehensive tests for both partners to determine their suitability for IVF treatment.

IVF Timeline:

The IVF process takes approximately 20 days from the egg retrieval to the embryo transfer. It begins on the first day of the woman’s menstrual cycle. If the couple arrives at the center after the fourth day of the cycle, they will have to wait until the next cycle as the procedure cannot be performed after the fourth day.

Protocol Followed at Our Center for Natural IVF

Day 1 of the Menstrual Cycle:

  • The treatment begins with the administration of ovulation-stimulating medications, vitamins, hormones, and other necessary supplements.
  • Monitoring continues for 12 days.

Day 12 of the Cycle:

  • The size of the eggs is assessed, and the date for egg retrieval is determined.

Day 14 of the Cycle:

  • Eggs are retrieved under mild anesthesia in a procedure lasting about 15 minutes.
  • On the same day, a semen sample is collected from the husband. The semen undergoes a washing process to remove impurities, weak, or dead sperm, leaving only active and healthy sperm.

Simultaneously, the eggs retrieved from the wife undergo various laboratory processes until they are ready for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

  • The fertilized eggs (embryos) are preserved in special mediums inside specialized incubators. The viable embryos are transferred into the uterus on the fourth or fifth day after egg retrieval.

Monitoring Embryo Development:

Our center features advanced embryology laboratories equipped with high-precision devices to monitor the growth and development of embryos obtained through IVF.

  • Embryo Transfer: Two viable embryos are transferred into the wife’s uterus, while the remaining viable embryos are frozen and stored in our embryology labs.
  • Embryo Freezing: Frozen embryos remain viable for up to five years.

Pregnancy Test:
A blood pregnancy test is conducted 10 days after the embryo transfer.

Global Statistics:
According to global statistics, freezing embryos for one month increases the success rate of the treatment.
